Thank goodness for Time Machine
My iPhoto library got angry yesterday and stopped opening. Luckily, I was able to dig out the one album I had added since my last backup (hundreds of photos from Ohio) and copy the files before deleting the iPhoto Library and restoring it from last week’s version.
It’s nice to have enough backup copies of things to feel comfortable deleting 50GB of photos without too much stress.

SO MUCH TUMBLR SPAM
I’m getting inundated with Tumblr spam likes lately, and don’t like it. My biggest challenge now is differentiating between teenagers on Tumblr and spammers…both include cutesy names and numbers in their names (ex: KatieGrl94), both often include only reblogs of generic photos, and both include incoherent text.

WatchThis is the first summer in the history of my adult/NYC life that I’m not working at the Music@Menlo chamber music festival in Menlo Park, CA for a grueling non-stop month.
