The Bike Vest (from Searching for Value in Ludicrous Ideas - NYTimes.com)
My favorite thing about this ludicrous idea is the woman wearing the vest in the bottom right, who clearly looks like she’s on a bus. So she has a bike but she rides the bus?
Side note: How fucking BOSS does that guy on the left look? Wow.

Bringing a compact bike on the bus IS a great idea, escially if your destination is too far to bike or further than walking distance from the bus route. It would also be fun to slam around a packed train in one of these vests.
I envy the buses in San Francisco that have racks on the front for bikes. Folding bikes could be good on buses and subways, but mine is still too bulky and heavy for me to try it.
