This $5 app seems like the perfect solution, as it walks you through the scripts to use while you are on the phone with service providers. We used Ramit’s negotiating strategy to save on our cell phone bills and cable internet this spring, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Negotiating down everything possible results in significant dollars saved each month on bills, which really adds up over time (about $440 dollars for me this year from two phone calls). His blog gives the backstory of the app, which has been in development for two years. Also, a video demo of the app. What a useful repackaging of his negotiating advice!
