For our first wedding anniversary, my big brother sent us a truly stunning drawing of one of our wedding photos. I got out of work today at 1pm for Thanksgiving, so I finally had time to pick out a frame and hang it up!

This is hilarious/awesome, and for a second, I thought it was another layer of Mattel’s Barbie & Ken online marketing strategy. I bet they wish they had thought of it.
And yes, they look exactly like our engagement photos.

I wrote a song, “The Rafters in my Head” as a gift to Adrienne and Christian for their wedding. It was probably one of my favorite writing experiences, and I am glad it took me 6 or 7 scrapped songs to get to this one.
I’ll post it first thing in the morning, but for now I’ll leave you with the artwork.
