Toronado soliciting
- Me: You'd never see that kind of shit go down at Blind Tiger.
- CR: I know, they'd say, "I'm gonna make a 'bloody beast' out of your arm."
Met the guy responsible for beerschool.com while at San Francisco’s 21st Amendment last night during our only evening off, and he showed us this fabulous notebook created especially for keeping track of beers.
I’m going to have to agree with Zac on this one. Pizza in CA isn’t doing it for me.
(that shredded stuff is basil, btw. shredded basil. and they don’t sell slices. and they close at 9pm)
one good thing about CA: dance commutes
During a commute in NYC, music must be enjoyed silently without any movement beyond fingers subtly conducting mini orchestras in coat pockets or toes tapping inside of shoes.
Commuting by car in CA, on the other hand, permits singing as loudly as possible and expanding the possibilities of seated dance moves while listening. Earlier this week, I unconsciously commuted with the silence and stillness required of the 1 train, but have since realized that I was missing an opportunity to work on my vocal stylings and choreography. It’s much better this way.
Pizza elitist
- Me: Do you like pizza anywhere outside of New York?
- Zac: Italy.
Tonight’s mission: City Beer Store in San Francisco.
Why don’t places like this exist in NYC?
People are just nice here. It’s weird!
The subway car with the broken air conditioning,
one of the aspects of summer I always forget about when I’m longing for warm weather in December.
