We actually have a lot of non-alcoholic beers that are really good.

Lies. Non-alcoholic beer tastes like mildly beer-flavored juice.
Inspired by Greg and Andrew’s similar challenge set to begin in May, CR and I embarked on a “Post-Easter No Drinking Challenge” on Monday for the rest of this month. I am always proud of myself for not being a daily soda drinker, but our NYC social events are so heavily tied to beers and bars that it’s easy to get through a week and realize you’ve had a beer every night, which is even worse for your wallet and your gut than a Pepsi.
This is our sweet Google Doc to mark our progress, currently showing two days of success. Go team!
Tonight we enjoyed a taco dinner at home with several imported elements from loved ones—delicious tortillas from Austin (which have been chilling in our freezer since our visit last spring), and a few beers from Vermont’s Rock Art Brewery, which Corinne hand-delivered last weekend.
I’m very glad that people have learned that a good gift for us is good beer.
This is a pretty amazing Budweiser spot for the big game on Sunday.

Tears me up and is a complete copy of Improv Everywhere’s Best Gig Ever from 2005:
She’s Crafty, a craft beer forum for like-minded, hops and malt-loving ladies.
This aligns with my interests. (Yes, I’m lamely linking to a web version of an e-mail newsletter, but it’s okay—it’s good information, and yet another thing that is marketed in a way to appeal to cliche me.)
Our friends over at We are not Martha just posted a perfect fall treat for the beer-lover - Pumpkin Beer Pretzels with two dipping sauces!
Oh my goodness. We Are Not Martha gets me on the pumpkin train every fall. I was complaining about pumpkin last week at this time, while enjoying my final Summer Friday and sipping a decidedly summer beer, but now I’m on board. Black tights and pumpkin beer, here I come!!
