We’ve had a pretty great weekend which kicked off with a new game! Johannes sent Christian Fealty, which turns out to be a Kickstarter success and a lot of fun. It’s a quick one and can be played with just two players, so we will be playing a lot!

I just received word that after our successful game night last night, we demonstrated enough skill to be invited to play Cosmic Encounter in the future. I have heard many a legend of this game, and hope that it won’t result in anything like this Monopoly game above.

(My coworker just told me she thought of me when she saw this story last night. Awesome.)

Who would’ve guessed that I’d love a game called, “I’m the Boss!” We played last night, and uncharacteristically, I didn’t fail miserably and instead came in 2nd place! It’s basically just haggling for millions of dollars, which I’m into.

On Saturday, my dad came to town for the weekend, and we played a rousing backyard game of LIFE with Jason and Erin. It was the 1991 edition, so things were different than I remembered them, but I still don’t think that I’m a very big fan of the game.
