I just received a letter from the New York Times outlining their impending pay wall, and it’s not as restrictive as I expected (this is just an excerpt). I will be more choosy before clicking articles to read with this limitation, though.
Also, WSJ reports:
“Additionally, people who arrive through search engines, blogs, social-networking sites and other “side doors,” won’t be stopped from viewing the link they click, regardless of how many times they’ve visited that month. Such side doors account for half or more of the site’s traffic in some months.”
So that’s good.
(We just got fact checked by the New York Times wedding section)
Ok. I’m officially getting excited.
Dear New York Times Vows section,
Want to hang out and make a video in Central Park of me and CR talking about how we met when I shouted to him through my kitchen window? I’ll be back in New York tomorrow night and available for the next three weeks, and I think we would have a nice time together.
xoxo,
Adrienne
